Annette, According to Richard Friend's (of Indiana) file he listed the children of George Friend b. 1751 as (A) Elizabeth; (B) Catherine, (C) George Jr.; (D) Sarah; (E) Mary; Jacob; Margaret; Philip; Eva. I found records of the following marriage records at rootsweb.com Jefferson Co. Ohio. www.rootsweb.com/~ohjeffer/mars/1806 George Black m. (A?) Elizabeth Friend in Jefferson Co. Ohio 1804 (B?) Catherine Friend m. Henry Hansil in Jefferson County, Ohio 1805 (C?) George Friend m. Barbara Grubbaugh (spelling on the record) in Jefferson Co. Ohio 1806 (D?) Sally Friend m. George Grubbaugh in Jefferson County, Ohio 1806 (E?) Mary Friend m. Jacob Wise in Jefferson County, Ohio If we say they married at the average age of 20 years, then were born between 1784 and 1786. George Sr. was born 1751 and IF he married at the average of 20 years he would have married about 1771. BUT, if George Sr. married late, say closer to 30 years of age then these children could have been his and siblings. Agreed? Of course I don’t have the marriages (if they married) for Jacob, Margaret, Philip and Eva. If they were the elder children then that could have filled the years between 1771 (if he married at 20 years of age) and the 1784 to 1786 years (when these children may have been born if he married at age 20). I know I didn’t explain this properly but I think these children were most likely sibling and children of George b. 1751. What are your thoughts.

I am looking again at the records sent to me by Richard Friend (Indiana) and he lists George Friend, Sr. 1751-1825 as the son of Philip Friend 1718-1801 who married Anna Elizabeth Harsh or Hearsh.

Annette, I am from the Philip Friend (Freund) line too. I descend from his second son, Tobias Friend, where you come off of Philip's first son, George Friend Sr. Your George Jr. and Sarah (Sally) were brother and sister. I have the geneology report showing the information you are after. I received geneology papers showing about 9 generations of descendants of Philip from a lady in Arizona. If you would email me, I would be glad to scan several pages for you. My email is "samigo45@hotmail.com".
